The International Museum of Electrography, Center for Innovation in Art and New Technologies (MIDECIANT) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) expands its funds with 5,000 pieces and thousands of complementary documents from the Mail Art movement of the artists Ibirico, Reglero and Valdor With this donation, this center of the regional University expands up to more than 9,000 permanent works of electrographic and digital art work.
We have been working (and enjoying) in the last months with many artworks from a generous donation from great artist and good friend Jesús Pastor. Here you have a little sample of five images made by calcographic engraving and xerography techniques. We hope you like it. Thank you, Jesús!
Friday July 13 we received the visit of Marisa González at the International Museum of Electrography (MIDECIANT) of Cuenca (Spain). Who also had the kindness and generosity to donate a series of pioneering copy art and digital art pieces for the museum’s permanent collection. Thank you very much. It is an honor and a pleasure. We hope that the visit was of your pleasure and interest and we hope to see you again by the MIDE -your house- as soon as possible.
The presentation of the artist and full professor Jesús Pastor took place in the Research Master on Artistic and Vistual Practices. At the end of his presentation, Pastor explained all students about the artistic donation to the MIDE collection, that he has just completed with differents artworks that represent his artistic career.
